Velodyne Acoustics has evolved the MicroVee MKII into the MicroVee X in all the right places. The three drivers, with their cones now made of carbon fiber, operate with extremely low distortion in the ultra-stiff enclosure.

I am fascinated by how the little Velodyne Acoustics MicroVee X performs in the hi-fi department.

The Deep Blue 15 not only delivers low-frequency thrills, but also sends the message that Velodyne is back – and it’s only just getting started.

The change of ownership has done Velodyne good, and you can hear it: In addition to the well-known virtues such as power and pressure, the developers have mixed a good lancing of precision in the Deep Blue 10. This one is really fun!

With the new Deep Blue series Velodyne sets standards in the price-performance ratio, but also absolutely in terms of sound quality. And the Deep Blue 15 as the largest model in the series naturally sets the best mark in terms of dynamics and low bass.

Velodyne offers discretion with a decent displacement at the same time with the Deep Blue 12. The active twelve-incher can be integrated into any setup due to adjustable volume, filter and phase position and tailored to the most diverse needs.

The Velodyne Deep Blue 15 proves to be an affordably priced universal genius for music lovers and cinema fans alike.
